Phil Givens, a Maryland native developed a passion for camping and fishing during his childhood adventures with his father. While growing up, he avidly absorbed wildlife knowledge from shows like Animal Planet and admired legends like Steve Irwin.
During high school, Phil immersed himself in photography, yearbook committees, and morning announcements. After graduating in 2011, he co-founded P&J’s Life Skills, a program offering camps and group events for kids in Harford County, Maryland. By 2018, Phil was directing camps and group events for a larger nonprofit.
In 2012, Phil experienced his first hunting trip, sparking a newfound passion for the outdoors. When COVID-19 halted his nonprofit work, he transitioned to storytelling, blending it with his love for the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Givens Media, initially a side gig, became his full-time career.
With over 4 years of experience in film and photography for the hunting and fishing industry, before going full time in 2019 full-time, Phil is confident in his ability to bring clients’ visions to life. Whether it’s capturing the the hunt, crafting social media content, or marketing an outfit, Phil has the expertise to deliver.
